ATHLETIC MOUTHGUARDS

Athletic mouthguards are recommended for individuals involved in contact sports to prevent injury to the teeth, gums and underlying bone. Custom made mouthguards fit better and provide more protection than over the counter “one size fits all” types.

Nightguards are also used to prevent grinding and clenching (bruxism) habits. Continual grinding of teeth can result in tooth destruction and/or loss, chronic headaches and muscle soreness.
